This new painting is the latest phase of Project Mogwai, inspired by one of their oft-forgotten efforts that’s more of an interlude rather than an actual song, but still carries a mood of exquisite sadness with it.

A showing of George Shaw’s latest work – ‘Woodsman’ – opened last weekend at the Anthony Wilkinson Gallery and runs until 9th April. Looks like I’ll be on the Megabus down the M4 in the very near future, as this will be a rare opportunity for me to see George’s work up close.
